| Shri G. P. Chopraji, an awardee of the Padmashree by the President of India
is one such educator who has used the whole of his self. His invaluable
contribution to the field of education has lighted the path and upheld the
principles and teachings of the Vedas and the Arya Samaj through the D.A.V.
institution, not only in India but also in foreign lands. He is a great
philanthrop who has used his faculties and kept them sharp by dedicating his
life to serve others in time of need. He is a man of vision with a great
mission who believes in good education and aspires towards the right
blending of tradition and modernity and value based education. He always has
and still is journeying ahead to successfully achieve his mission. We salute
