The school was established in January,1989 with 400 students on roll and 20 staff members teaching and non teaching) to begin with. In a short span of time it made a quantum leap and made a phenomenal progress. At the ripe young age of 18 the strength has reached  the toll of 4,000 students and 200 staff  members teaching and non teaching).

The school now boasts of a sound and well developed infrastructure with 90 spacious and well ventilated  classrooms equipped with a T.V. and audio visual material for teaching with the help of audio-visual aids. The school has gone hi-tech , with the state of art laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Geography, Psychology, JIL labs, Computer Lab on each floor, LCD room and a Computerized Library.

The school believes in setting clear visions and challenges for laying a healthy foundation by creating a sustainable environment, that is the key to human existence. Our students ponder, probe, train, exert to bring about a wonderful alignment of all the faculties for a distinctive and alignment of all the faculties for a distinctive and qualitative achievement, to realize the individuality and uniqueness without compromising the human touch refinement of the heart and discipline of the spirit. The school has become an institution to be reckoned with. It has not only carved a niche for itself but also enjoys great renown of its own. It has forcefully arrived and is here to stay. The excellent results each year at the VIII, X and XII level speak for themselves.

We can proudly say that the school has blended the modern with the moral and ethical successfully and has maintained the highest character all through. This in itself is a great achievement.

The school under the able guidance and guardianship of the Chairman sir Dr. R.P. Singhal, Manager sir, Mr. J.K. Kapoor and the principal Mrs. Sneh Verma has achieved a lot, specially in terms of awards in each and every field, be it Academics, Sports, Co-curricular activities , Computers and the like. The most recent among all awards, that of Best Teacher Award bagged by the Principal, Best Principal award won by her are the ‘COMPUTER LITERACY EXCELLENCE AWARDS for schools – 2005’ both at the State and National level, comprising of a trophy each along with 1.5 lakhs and 5 lakhs cash respectively. The Principal has also been honored with a ‘Gold medal’ and a ‘Certificate of Excellence’ for achieving the earlier mentioned awards.
She has also been rewarded with the Best Principal and Coordinator Award in the International Informatics Olympiad, 2007 by the Computer Literacy Foundation.
Thus, with great pride and joy it can safely be said that the school has progressed by leaps and bounds and would keep doing so, in the future, too. As success keep doing so, in the future, too. As Success is not a destination but a journey for us.
